WORKING AT HEIGHTS 

GWO1002 WORKING AT HEIGHTS $925

Two-day training course (one of the four GWO BST modules) focuses on the access and egress conditions of a wind turbine environment.  Following the Global Wind Organizations lesson plan for working at heights, participants receive the necessary basic knowledge and skills through theory and practical training to use basic PPE and perform safe work at heights and safe comprehensive basic rescue from heights in a remote wind turbine environment.  Training Compliance –OSHA 1926 & 1910 Regulations, ANSI Z359 Standards, GWO-BST Version 7.

FIRST AID 

GWO3002 FIRST AID $925

Two-day training course (one of the four GWO BST modules) focuses on the access and egress conditions of a wind turbine environment.  Following the Global Wind Organizations lesson plan, First Aid is conducted under ENSA’s Medic First Aid training curriculum, which is a widely accepted professional training platform incorporated into an ENSA training course under the America Safety & Health Institute.  It is an enhancement of the pre-requisite standard American or Canadian Red Cross certification (or other acceptable curriculums) and will prepare students to apply information to emergency situations that involve victim care at heights.  Training Compliance – ISO 11.160 First Aid, OSHA 1910.151 Regulations, OSHA Guide 3317-06N 2006, HSI Medic First Aid, GWO-BST Version 7.

FIRE AWARENESS 

GWO101 FIRE AWARENESS $325

The aims of this four-hour training course (one of the four GWO BST modules) are to give participants the basic knowledge and skills to prevent fires, conduct initial and appropriate judgment when evaluating a fire, manage evacuation of personnel to ensure all are safely evacuated and accounted for in the event of an unmanageable fire, and, if it us to be judged safe, to efficiently extinguish an initial fire using basic hand-held fire equipment.  Training Compliance – ISO 7165:2009, NFPA 10 Standards, GWO-BST Version 7.

MANUAL HANDLING 

GWO102 MANUAL HANDLING $325

The aims of this four-hour training course (one of the four GWO BST modules) are to give participants awareness through theoretical and practical training to encourage positive manual handling behavior and perform manual handling activities in a safe manner in the wind turbine industry and environment.  Training Compliance – ISO 11228-3:2007, ISO 11228-2:2007, ISO 11228-1:2003, State OSHA Manual Handling Publications (various), NIOSH Publication 2007-131, GWO-BST Version 7.
